The approach I'd recommend differently now would be to document the manual process even more thoroughly, creating detailed case studies that could be used in investor presentations and marketing materials.
This validation-first approach works best when you're solving a problem that people are already trying to solve manually or with inadequate tools. It's less effective for entirely new markets where no existing behavior patterns exist.
