That's it. No utm_term, no utm_content, no 15-character naming conventions. The goal is to quickly identify which source-medium combinations are worth your time.
Tool #2: Google Analytics 4 (But Only Three Reports)
GA4 can do a million things, but for channel testing, I only look at:
Acquisition > Traffic Acquisition (by session source/medium)
Engagement > Conversions (by session source/medium)
Real-time report (to verify tracking is working)
I create a custom dashboard with these three views and ignore everything else. The key is having one source of truth that everyone can understand in 30 seconds.

Start simple, add complexity only when needed: You can always add more tracking later, but it's much harder to simplify an overly complex system.
